We work with local companies to provide FREE boat trips for children, families, school groups, and non-profits to enhance their programs and deepen their ongoing relationships. Community leaders, social workers, and first responders are also offered FREE trips, as we understand the importance of respite, and how that will directly and positively impact their family and their community.

We understand that in order to provide safe, excellent, oceanic experiences we cannot rely only on maritime volunteers in this present economy. Paying standard industry wages to ensure the professionalism of our crews and captains is highly important to us.

Post pandemic families are struggling due to the loss of jobs, homes, food, and other basic needs. Vulnerability breeds desperation and desperation breeds exploitation. We work to bring dignity back to a child’s life by helping the family holistically. We work with NGOs and non-profits to enhance the work they are doing. Our job is to partner the local community to their natural resources to help slow down PTSD and trauma, and to spark new dreams and passions that would overall contribute to a flourishing community. When kids are exposed to new experiences, dreams ignite, and economies stabalize.

Join us in 2024 for an exciting youth cross-cultural retreat on the Big Island. We'll bring together local and global kids, using activities like boating, snorkeling, beach clean-ups, marine education, and more to foster leadership skills. Help us inspire the next generation to connect with the natural world, ask questions, and build authentic relationships.

Eventually our dream is to establish a collegiate program here on Big Island that continues to foster what takes place at the Pacific Connection Retreats/Camps.
